Composites

Allplast utilizes the latest materials for the development of products for customers and for our own products. Furthermore, we have expertise in designing and producing conventional composite materials, such as carbon and fiberglass materials.

Through close collaboration with our suppliers, we have access to an extensive selection of materials, allowing us to almost always arrive at a suitable composite solution. Additionally, there are numerous options, such as integrating electromagnetic shielding, metal inserts, etc., for use in your end product.

Types of Composites

Allplast is your partner for high-quality composite solutions. With expertise in various composite materials, we provide custom solutions that meet the needs of various industries and applications.
  • Carbon composites

Carbon, also known as carbon fiber, has three key properties:

    • Lightweight
    • Stiff
    • Strong material

The material is renowned for high-tech applications in aviation and motorsports. Carbon fiber is increasingly used due to the impressive mechanical properties of this material. Allplast has extensive experience in processing carbon fiber prepregs. In this process, the resin content and resin type are optimized for the specific application. In our autoclave, the composite is processed into the final product under high pressure and temperature.

  • Thermoplastic Composites

Composite materials based on easily processable/reusable thermoplastic plastics. These materials are highly appealing due to the unique ballistic properties (bullet resistance) of this material. These materials are processed in our autoclave to create lightweight ballistic protection products, such as shields, body armor, bulletproof vests, and ballistic inserts.

  • Aramid

A highly strong and rigid material that is also highly resistant to high temperatures. Aramid is used in various applications, including ballistic protection, due to its unique fiber properties. At Allplast, we also process this material in prepreg form for specific applications. Additionally, we combine this material with carbon fiber and glass fiber composites, among other things, to tailor the mechanical properties of the final material.

  • Fiberglass

Fiberglass is a well-known composite material. This material is suitable for many applications and highly cost-effective. Fiberglass is also processed in prepreg form by us. Our material suppliers can provide various products, allowing us to offer a solution for almost any design problem.
